Bruckner: Symphony No. 2

Finally complete: Thielemann’s Bruckner is complete! With a brilliant interpretation of Bruckner’s Symphony No. 2,(Version 1877, in der neuen Edition von William Carragan / Konzert-Mitschnitt aus der Elbphilharmonie Hamburg am 6. Februar 2019), the Staatskapelle Dresden concluded its Bruckner cycle on DVD and Blu-ray Disc, celebrated by international music critics. “In the Elbphilharmonie, Thielemann once again showed himself to be the absolute ruler of his ancestral territory, the German Romantic period.” (Hamburger Abendblatt).
