The DVD & Blu-ray also include the “Berlin 1930” TV Documentary. Jonas Kaufmann traces the paths of the great singers and composers who defined this celebrated era. Through his personal exploration of old Berlin, interwoven with archival film footage and private interviews, he presents a fascinating look at the social and political currents that influenced this music and ultimately the musicians’ lives. |
